We hope students gain a new perspective on technology as creators (not just consumers) and a desire to continue learning about code.
CoderDojo Indigo is an introductory level coding experience for 4th-8th graders at Indigo Program held monthly during the 2014/2015 school year starting in October.
This collaborative and volunteer-led computer club follows the CoderDojo philosophy. We are using Scratch, an MIT developed online visual programming environment, to empower students to quickly experiment and create interactive projects - animations, games, music and art.
Through the experience, the aim is for students to have a fun time learning how computer applications and games are developed by making their own.
